So What’s Happening?

The “Winter Lights” annual Service Auction will soon be here. But as everyone knows, this darn pandemic is not over yet, with yet a new variant in play.  So for the safety of all, “Virtual” is once again the name of the game for this years’ Service Auction gathering. This means if you participated in last years auction, a lot of things will be familiar to you. We will be using the same Auctria Software interface as last year  AND if you registered for the Auction last year or the Boutique in November, you are already registered and don’t have to worry about doing that again.

The Winter Light’s event will go live online at midnight on Sunday February 6. It will run all week long through Saturday February 12 when at 7pm the Live Auction will stream via zoom right into your homes, just as Sunday services do every week! The online Silent Auction & Boutique along with Posters items will continue to be open during the live auction event. Everyone is invited to register for the Auction if you haven’t already.

New this year, our annual Gift Basket Drawing will return, with a Virtual twist. We will once again be offering the opportunity to purchase individual tickets to place with the Gift Baskets of your choice. As usual the drawing will be held during the live broadcast on Saturday night.

 “Wine Virtual Style” returns this year, functioning the same as last year. Joanne Pon Rubin is taking donations of nice Wine and/or Champagne bottles that will be offered in Silent Auction fashion for the taking.

Our Annual Service Auction is more than just a fundraising event. It is a night of fellowship and community, a space to connect and socialize with our church family, for more than a cup of virtual coffee after service. We are very excited to see what adventures this year’s offerings will bring and we are looking forward to seeing you all online!
