General Assembly Sunday

ONSITE and on Zoom, and Facebook LIVE. We will be watching the livestream of the service together in Wylder Hall and online at 9:30 am. The General Assembly is the Annual Meeting of Unitarian Universalists from around the world.  The General Assembly Worship Leader for the Sunday Service will be the Rev. Gretchen Haley, from the Foothills Unitarian Universalist Church in Fort Collins, CO. The beneficiary of the offering from that service will be a nonprofit from the immediate area, as usual. This year that recipient will be East County Rising Community Projects, a community organizing institution that aims to advance policies to improve the lives of those communities and individuals who are most underrepresented and marginalized in the region.

Gretchen Haley is relentlessly curious about most things, especially the big stuff of theology, the magic of collaboration, and the great joy of pop culture. She has an audacious ambition for the liberal church, believing in its capacity to transform lives and our world by way of hyper-local relationships and partnerships that inspire the unleashing of courageous love. She finds solace in the trails in and around Fort Collins, Colorado, where she serves with the brilliant Rev. Sean NeilBarron as one of the ministers of the Foothills Unitarian Church.

We are meeting in person. However, if you are on Zoom or Facebook, because our collection plate cannot be passed to you, we are offering a simple way to give using Tithe.ly.
