Time for All Ages & Curricular Sunday, October 17

Children and youth will start in the Church Service at 10:00 am and will be “sung out” to their Religious Education classes. Wear a mask!

Our classes this year are partly shaped by worship themes explored in the congregation.
• Our Preschool – Kinder class are learning through Spirit Play, stories that present larger issues of inclusion, welcoming, and our eight principles in an easy to understand format. For the moment they are gathering in the small play yard, behind the Chalice Building.
• Our First to Fourth Grade youth are exploring UU Superheroes, thoughtful and wise women and men that contributed to the formation of our faith tradition.
• Our Fifth to Seventh Grade youth have embarked on Heeding the Call: Qualities of a Justicemaker, which includes activities to awaken awareness, compassion, courage, and what it means to see injustice and take action to correct it.
• Our Eighth to Twelfth Grade youth are learning skills to Be The Change! Building a Multicultural, Anti-Racist Beloved Community. This curricula is rich with multimedia and deeply involves youth in the implementation of our 8th Principle.
