This Sunday, February 24, children and youth will put their faith into action by helping local homeless youth. They will make personal hygiene kits to support a local teen homeless program for their February Faith In Action Sunday (A series of monthly activities benefiting others).
Children and youth in grades kindergarten through High School should gather in Wylder Hall where they will be sung out following the beginning of Service. Younger children should gather in the nursery classrooms.
We need donations of disposable razors, small toothpaste tubes, toothbrushes, combs, small liquid soap/sanitizer bottles, and more. Small containers are best. Buying in bulk saves on cost. Please drop off items at the LRE office or, on the 24th, at the Chalice Building. We would also welcome extra adult helpers that day for hygiene kit assembly.
