Religious Education’s summer program continues. “All the world’s a stage…” This week everyone is brushing up on their Shakespeare. I’ll bet you didn’t know there were codes hidden within! Hear ye, hear ye! Prepare thy minds a cipher to solve!
9:30 am : Preschool/Kinder and 1st-4th grade
children and youth will be solving a Shakespeare puzzle during the week, then coming together on Sunday. Amara, our Nursery Caregiver, will be reading stories during the latter part of class.
11:30 am : 5th-12th grade
youth will need to decode an Ottendorf cipher from a very, very abridged version of Shakespeare’s First Folio to reveal the password for their Zoom meeting. Art thou willing to meet this challenge? (The password will also be emailed on the morning of Sunday case you get stumped). Let’s get sleuthing!
If you would like your child or children to participate, contact Naomi Yoshida, the Director of Religious Education.
