Saturday, May 12th, 7:00PM – Experience the musical sounds of traditional Lobi music from northwestern Ghana. SK Kakraba will serenade us on the gyil, a wooden African xylophone with gourd resonators that buzz with the silk of spiders’ egg sacs, called paapieye, which is stretched across the gourds’ openings.
