Faith In Action IT’S SOCKtober!
Sock it to us…literally!
On October 9, children and youth will “go the distance” to put their faith into action by supporting the Long Beach
Marathon runners. They will hand out water and provide moral support, during their October Faith In Action Sunday
(A series of monthly activities benefiting others). Children and youth in first grade through High School should gather at the new parking lot for the event, after
being sung out of Service. For the entire month of October, we are celebrating SOCKtober, where children and youth are collecting packages of NEW socks for youth in need. We are especially looking for teen/adult socks, as they are often overlooked in clothing drives. Bring the socks to the RE cart, a Sunday morning classroom, or the church office.
