Dear UUCLB Family: A group of congregants has reached out to find an Afghan family that we could welcome and help settle in the U.S. We were connected with a lovely family of 6 with 3 daughters; ages 3, 12, and 14, and a son, age 9. They are temporarily housed in an apartment nearby. The resettlement agency provides for only a fraction of their needs.

Would you like to help? Will and Nasreen Gagner and Patricia Chen can answer questions. We’ll be collecting Target gift cards so that they can buy anything from groceries to jackets to bicycles.
