A Message from Your Pastoral Care Team

The Pastoral Care Team is looking forward to resuming church services this fall when we can see old friends and meet the many “new” people who have joined us in the last year and a half! At this time, small groups can schedule with the church administrator to meet on campus, with restrictions. The church has been “spiffed up”, greeters are being assembled, singers and musicians look forward to meeting together, not just on Zoom, and future Sunday services are being planned. It is an exciting time!
We always encourage brief “check-in” telephone calls or messages to people you know, especially those might not be able to leave their homes. Let’s make every effort to stay in touch. And we continue to send hand-made cards to people who might enjoy them. If you know of someone who could use a note of encouragement or congratulations, please let us know. Contact Rev. Lissa or send an email to pastoralcare@uuclb.org.
On a somber note, the church has received information regarding the March 18th death of Bill Armstrong due to COPD. His family is having a small memorial on Sunday, June 27, 11:00 in Lakewood. Because of Covid guidelines, reservations are necessary. For more information, contact his sister Dorothy Armstrong Young at 408-391-7236.
We wish all UUCLB members and friends health and happiness.
