Diane's Volunteer Corner

Hi, I'm Diane Julian your Volunteer Coordinator. I'm the go to person if you are either someone looking for opportunities to volunteer for the church, or a committee chair or event coordinator who is short-handed. My job is to see that the right people find each other.

Help Wanted

Following are the current volunteer opportunities at UUCLB. They are either one time needs, or short term / several engagement needs, or long term needs.

Do you like to talk to people? 

Survey and Review Committee needs one more volunteer. They meet only 3 to 4 times a year, so if you only have a little time to help, this group is for you. Computer skills are a plus.  Contact Desiree Kannell at dkannel@verizon.net 

 Do you like to work with kids?

Ongoing in Religious Education.  A few more teachers are needed going forward to second service.  New volunteers need to have beeen attending church for 6 months.  There are other opportunities available.  Contact Tamara Casanova at t_casanovauu@msn.com.

Child Care Coordinator

Childcare coordinator is the title of the person who oversees the
maintenance of the guidelines and who oversees connecting people needing childcare to the providers, who are essentially middle and high school youth with babysitting experience. Contact Laura Scully at lbscully@charter.net
