Home Worship & Arts Worship Services

churchWelcome to the Long Beach Unitarian Universalist worship page. Sunday Worship Services are at 10:00 am in the summer. We are currently on our summer worship schedule. In the fall, we will return to our Sunday worship schedule of 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. This page will tell you more about today's and upcoming services.

School-age children participate in the first part of the service, then go to their Religious Education classes. Infants and preschoolers may be taken to their classrooms ten minutes before each service. During Intergenerational Services children and youth remain in the worship service. Starting September 12—Services at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m.

After much review with the Religious Education Committee, the Sunday Leadership Team, and the Board of Trustees, a decision was made to implement the following changes for our fall worship schedule which begins September 12th:

Worship services will be at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m.

Religious Education will be held during the first service only.

During countless visioning workshops, members and friends have shared the vision of giving youth the opportunity to attend worship services together, in addition to attending Religious Education classes. On Septermber 12th, formal RE classes will be offered at the 1st worship service only, allowing families to attend worship services together during the 2nd service. Room 6 will be available during the 2nd service for those who need to be more active (intended for pre-k thru 1st grade). Childcare will be offered at both services in Room 4.
