Spiritual Practices

Interest groups offer opportunities for exploration of a variety of spiritual practices. Some of them are described here. For contact numbers, call the Church Office.

BUDDHISTS

Those interested in learning about the study and practice of Buddhism are invited to join UU Buddhists at 10 a.m. in the Lounge each Friday. The group is led by Barbara Reinhart.

NATURE'S PATH

This group explores Wiccan and Pagan practices and insights and meets Sundays after the 11:00 am services, starting at 12:30 pm, at the picnic table on the west church grounds or in Room 5 if the weather is inclement. All are welcome!

MINDFUL EATING

This group considers eating in a conscious manner. It's about awareness about eating, what we eat, but mostly about the experience of eating, hunger, fullness and being fully conscious. Although the book is based on the book: "Women, Food and God," by Geneen Roth, men are very welcome. Bring your own food. There is no childcare provided at present.

Saturdays from 8:30 am in Room 1. Contact Debbie Rodriguez or Maureen McHale with any questions.
